Great central location in El Born!
Great location! Very prompt and helpful to help us get to the destination and any questions we had afterwards.
When I rented the apartment, I was under the impression all the pictures were for the same appartment I was renting. This was concerning when I later realized it was a combination of photos of multiple locations. But I was very happy when I got to the apartment!

Central location, comfortable rooms, shifty customer service
Central location, walking distance to many attractions (e.g., Picasso Museum) and restaurants in El Born. Enjoyed the multiple Juliet balconies. Beds were large (queen) and comfortable. We appreciated the large common area with sectional.
As another reviewer mentioned, the apartment we received was different from the photos accompanying the apartment we booked on Booking.com. A bit of a bait and switch at play as the apartment we received was still nice, but not as nice as those pictured, and also further away from the location indicated on Booking.com. The host would do well to provide actual photos of the rooms one books, although it seems they manage multiple apartments so likely just give customers whichever is available upon their day of arrival, but especially as the apartments they offer are priced differently. I was disappointed with the host. They declined to provide the apartment address until just a day or so before arrival, citing "security" concerns, although this fails to take into account the customer's security especially those who need to report their travel plans to their employers or would like to make restaurant bookings in advance. They likely do so, as mentioned above, because they don't know which apartment they will give you until just prior to your arrival. We also tried to secure luggage storage or early check in at time of booking. Ultimately we were advised to wait and see upon day of arrival. When that time came, we were told we should have booked an extra night before our arrival to receive early check in (we’re talking 2-3 hours here). In any event, it wasn’t possible as the previous guests overstayed their check out time. Otherwise, there is no luggage storage whatsoever, and we had to pay out of pocket to store our luggage at a nearby hostel. I was surprised to find, a week after our stay, a request for €199 in damages to a kitchen table. Suffice to say, we did not damage the kitchen table, and the request came approximately one week after the stay and without explanation or accompanying photos. Booker beware, you may be hit with an outrageous damages request after your stay, which thankfully Booking.com customer service intervened to stop.

No elevator ruined entire stay
Loved the location and huge terrace.
This property was specifically selected for its elevator. A coworker had knee surgery a few months ago, so she was barely able to leave the apartment. The elevator was broken from the moment we arrived to the moment we checked-out. The need for an elevator was emphasized to the host when we arrived and he assured us it was getting fixed. The second day, still nothing. Host was notified and we were told he'd look into it. That was the last we heard from anyone. Needless to say, carrying extremely heavy luggage down those stairs when we left pretty much erased any pleasant memories regarding the unit itself.
